Set against the vast landscape of Goko Farm in Nobeyama Highlands, Nagano, outdoor listening festival EACH STORY -THE CAMP- 2026 returns for another two days devoted to sound, nature, and the experience of listening.

The final lineup welcomes Goldmund, Joey Dosik, KMRU, Black Boboi, COLA REN, satomimagae, and Space Opera Symphony. The festival will also feature special programs including the sound installation KANKYO DOT, as well as Ryo Ishii, who will provide the musical selection for Morning YOGA.

Goldmund is the solo project of American musician Keith Kenniff, one of the defining voices in contemporary post-classical music. Known for his quietly evocative piano works and delicate ambient textures, and highly regarded by the late Ryuichi Sakamoto, Kenniff returns to Japan for the first time in seven years.

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Joey Dosik draws from soul, jazz, and R&B to create music of remarkable warmth and depth. A gifted saxophonist and pianist with a four-octave vocal range, Dosik is also a member of funk band Vulfpeck, whose powerful performance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25 captivated audiences last year.

Making his Japan debut, Nairobi-born Kenyan artist KMRU has earned international acclaim for work that brings together field recordings and electronic sound. He has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices of a new generation working across ambient and experimental music.

Black Boboi brings together Julia Shortreed, ermhoi, and Utena Kobayashi, three artists with distinct musical backgrounds. Moving fluidly between electronica, ambient music, improvisation, and pop, the trio creates a singular ensemble sound shaped by richly layered vocal harmonies.

Based in Guangzhou, China, COLA REN combines traditional instruments from across Asia and Africa with electronic music, creating organic soundscapes and subtle grooves that have attracted growing attention across Asia and Europe.

Japanese musician satomimagae weaves field recordings, acoustic guitar, and a delicate voice into intimate compositions that evoke nature, memory, and landscape.

Also joining the lineup is Space Opera Symphony, an ambient and improvisational ensemble born from EACH STORY. Transforming bioelectrical signals from fungi and plants into sound and combining them with live improvisation, the group creates music that can only emerge from that particular place and moment.

The Special Program will once again feature KANKYO DOT, the sound installation jointly developed by dublab.jp and Yoshio Ojima, following its warmly received appearance at EACH STORY last year. This year, a new work will premiere under the theme of experiencing the festival environment through sound that continuously evolves over the course of two days.

For Morning YOGA, a recurring part of EACH STORY mornings, music selector and DJ Ryo Ishii, who has spent many years bringing music into a wide range of spaces and settings, will curate the morning’s soundtrack.

Twenty-five acts from ten countries will gather at Goko Farm, crossing genres, borders, and musical traditions.
